Kids Village’s early childhood programs are designed to nurture each child’s social and emotional development while providing learning experiences that enhance development.
Preschoolers’ learning (3-5 years old) is thoughtfully and intentionally supported in the areas of mathematical thinking, science, the arts, motor skills and social-emotional learning. Children learn skills to help them take care of themselves and each other. The teachers guide children in their learning and foster the skills of life-long learning.
Based on a firm knowledge of the letters and sounds, preschoolers are ready to form words, combine them into sentences, and start reading at an early age. Children discover how fun and practical math can be as they act out story problems, learn to tell time, measure objects, and learn money values. The Kids Village classes incorporate all of the senses to help children internalize knowledge and make it their own. Preschoolers are equipped with the critical thinking skills they need to tackle the added challenges of kindergarten and later, grade school.
